Australian Banknotes-Edith Cowan

Edith Dcrcksey Cowan was a famous person. She's portraiture is on the bank of the Australian fifty dollar note. She was born in Geraldton,Western Australia on 2 August 1861,and died on June 1932. She was a famous politician.Why? Because Cowan became more and more concerned with social issues and injustices in the legal system, especially with respect to women and children. She devoted herself to push the reform of these unfair legal system, and achieved remarkable success.

ABOUT THE BANANAS

I haven't eaten bananas recently, because its price is too expensive. I heard that the bananas plants that were damaged by the cyclone will be bearing fruit again before long. I think the price of bananas will gradual fall. At that time I can buy them at normal prices.

My name is You Tao.  I come from China. I've been in Australia for more than 10 years. I'm married and have two son, Zhibang and Zhilang. I live with my older son. He has two daughters and a young boy. My younger son works and lives in Shanghai. He has two sons.

Now I'm retired. Before I immigrated to Australia, I worked at a University in Guangzhou, from when I graduated until I retired.
